Help with over protective father?

As stated above its quite obvious that I need a little help with getting my dad to calm down a little and maybe get him to see it thru my eyes. I'm 15 and have just gotten my first bf about 3 months ago, and now all of a sudden my dad decides that I should have a curfew of 8 pm when visiting my bf ....because APPARENTLY I ve been home late way too many times (which I assure you I have not, promise) ; he claims that I ve been sneaking around and avoiding him when it comes to going to visit people ; and that I NEED to be chaperoned with my bf at all times cuz apparently I ve been breaking this rule somehow(honestly, I'm a good kid. Goody two shoes. I haven't done any of the stated. I can assure you) . He blames my bf for this situation saying that I am his RESPONSIBILITY. I am no ones responsibility. My dad just takes everything and anything and turns it into a fight/argument. He says he s a calm, understandable and good listening person while it seems as if he almost feeds off the fights. If there is anyway that someone may think to calm him a bit, or get him to really listen and see it thru the eyes of a good teenager I d appreciate it. :) thank you (please know that I do love my father, I'm only asking for a little help with communication). Any advice is welcome :)
