Voice command software for college professor?

I have a friend who teaches at a college and was recently diagnosed with an adrenal gland problem due to carcinogenic toxins from within her office. She has a very hard time using her eyes and I wanted to know if anyone knows where she might be able to get a voice command software program for her computer (windows XP I believe), which would work on the program "GradeMachine".
