PCOS, Cushing's, wait what is going on?

I have PCOS. I also am on Metformin, but it's mostly for my insulin resistance that came along with my PCOS. I'm on Aldactone too. My doctor did a vaginal ultrasound to check for cysts before diagnosing me with PCOS. I can't believe your doctor did not. Cysts are what cause the hormone issues that cause PCOS. I don't know anything about Cushings but I definitely think they need to check your ovaries for cysts before determing you have polyCYSTIC ovarian syndrome. Makes sense to me!
