What would happen if the adrenal medulla was destroyed?

well if the adrenal medulla was distroyed, i guess, the epinaphrine(adrenaline) production will stop and hence gloucose production will tend to cease and the patient will become really weak............might even die eventualy if adrenaline is not provided externally
