Do they check bags at T in The Park?

Its just because im 17 and obviously me and friends are planning on sneaking in quite alot of cans of beer between us..and i really doubt they would have time to check every single person's bag individually but some people are saying yes they do check others are saying no they do not...Helllllppp (people who have gone to T in the park before and snuck things in too would be extrememly helpful) Thanks!!
