I'm trying to build a queen and full size loft, with one side of the queen size connecting to the full size using joist hanger. After adding up the weight for the lumber needed, it comes out to be over 900 pounds. Is this too heavy for a furniture in my room? Are "Better Douglas Fir GreenS4S Lumber" good for loft bed?
