Can i take Armour thyroid tablets at the same time as taking Nutri adrenal extra?

I'm 16 and i have had hypothyroidism for a year. I was on Levothyroxine for that year and it never got rid of any of my symptoms so i have decided to switch to Armour. I saw a private doctor and he said i had adrenal fatigue as well. So he told me to take Nutri adrenal supplements for 4 weeks and not take any armour or any other thyroxine for that time because he said it would be dangerous to take armour at the same time as the adrenal things, but he didn't say why. And i am very concerned, i don't wan't to be on nothing for 4 weeks because the last time i did that my symptoms got so much worse, and i don't want my hair loss to get any worse. I don't know what to do. Please answer
